I received my B.A. degrees in Mathematics (concentration on teaching) and Music (focus on composition) at UC Berkeley. I am an experienced tutor; I have tutored for MIDI programs and Math at a college as well as private sessions to individuals in the San Francisco Bay area. Music and math are the topics I know best. I love music theory, MIDI, composition, calculus, and analysis. I am constantly in awe of how math, specifically calculus and real number analysis, helped make me a more thoughtful and logical person. I have an extensive list of subjects and classes that I am able to tutor individuals in. This list includes: basic audio recording, composition, jazz improvisation, musicianship, audio mixing, piano, harmony, any level of math, prepping for exams, statistics, and most likely anything related to these - all you have to do is ask me. I do not believe in lecturing. I let the students take their learning into their own hands by coaching them to reflect and apply their knowledge. By asking questions to themselves, they grow in confidence to be able to take in, utilize, and eventually have fun creatively with new and known information. I freelance by scoring music in many areas, including games, content online, film, and commercials.
