Experience
Experience tutoring elementary-jr. high school aged children in a low-income area of Corona, CA. The goal of this tutoring experience was to to foster motivation and educational success within the youth. I would like to be a tutor because I truly love education and believe in it's power to help an individual walk into their purpose. I believe education helps us to make the world a better place and it's use is tantamount. This past spring I graduated from California Baptist University. During my undergraduate years, I studied in South America, Africa, and Europe. I also held down a part time job at Starbucks and helped lead a weekly community outreach with other CBU students. My favorite project as an undergraduate student was getting to work on Eddie Foy III's autobiography. Eddie Foy is a retired casting director known for casting hit TV shows such as Mash, Cheers, Three's Company, and more. While working with Eddie, I helped to develop practical marketing strategies as to how to market his autobiography to a younger audience as well as coordinated the pictures to be used in the book. I am currently working as a client services representative at The Honest Company in Santa Monica and preparing for law school!
